What the data is. Rust Live Stats reads the public Rust server list and contacts servers directly. It refreshes every five minutes. Figures can be late or wrong: a server may report a wipe after it happens, give itself a misleading name, or show a player count that has already changed. Treat every figure as a snapshot of the last update, not a certified record.
No warranty. The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will be available without interruption or that any figure is correct.
Your use of the site. Browsing and comparing servers is free and needs no account. Send requests at a reasonable rate; heavy automated traffic slows the site for everyone. If you need the full dataset, write to hello@rustlivestats.org and we will discuss it.
Bots and AI crawlers. Automated visitors are welcome. Check robots.txt and llms.txt first for what is where, and keep your fetch rate low enough that ordinary visitors still get fast pages.
Server owners. A server is listed because it appears on the public list. Its page reflects what the server itself publishes: name, tags, wipe schedule, slot count. If something is wrong, correct it on the server; the site picks up published values, in most cases at the next update.
Independence. Rust Live Stats is run independently. It has no link to Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.
Revisions. These terms may be revised at any time. The date above shows when that last happened. Continuing to use the site after a revision means you accept the revised terms.
Your questions
Email hello@rustlivestats.org with what you have in mind and we will agree terms. Routine browsing and linking need no permission. Automated crawlers should read robots.txt and llms.txt and keep request rates modest.
The site repeats what each server publishes and refreshes every five minutes. A server can report a wipe late, or its player count can change between updates. Rust Live Stats cannot verify a figure beyond that snapshot.
No. The site is independent and has no connection with Facepunch Studios. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios.
