Primitive Rust servers, live now

Last update: every five minutes. This page lists the primitive Rust servers in the table below, sorted by who has players on right now. All of them run Facepunch's Primitive mode, where guns do not exist and fights end with bows, spears or a rock. The count is small and the crowds are thin, so check the population column before you commit to a download.

Read the population column as a snapshot, not a promise. On a mode this small, a server showing double figures at 20:00 can sit at zero by morning, and rank is the better guide to who holds a crowd across the week.

Region decides more here than on vanilla. The players cluster in Europe and North America, so sort by ping before anything else. Wipe schedules split roughly in half: many with enough history reset only at the monthly force wipe, the rest advertise their own day, wipe on no fixed pattern, or restart the map every few hours. The next wipe column counts down; a leading ~ marks an estimate.

Most entries leave the gather rate off the name, which normally means 1x. A few state 3x. Group limits are usually the default 8, so a server tagged solo or trio is the exception. Maps are rarely full size.

Sort by rank if you are choosing for the week ahead; sort by players if you want a fight in the next hour. The name search matches words like your region or a group size.

One caveat on the mode: primitive is Facepunch's, but that says nothing about the rest of the server. Check the modded or vanilla tag and the gather rate before you assume a stock experience.
